OUR MISSION
The La Porte County Solid Waste District maintains an active role in education, implementation, and services outlined in its strategic plan. The District also maintains a pivotal position from which its support initiatives that not only enhance the local environmental health but also adds to the soundness of the economic infrastructure in La Porte County.
VISION STATEMENT
The La Porte County Solid Waste District will reduce or eliminate dependence on final disposal facilities by advocating source reduction, recycling, and effective, environmentally- sound waste disposal that is cost effective.
